Our thermal pad customization covers a wide spectrum—from core technical specifications like thermal conductivity, thickness, and hardness to the final physical shape.
1. Thermal Conductivity (W/m·K)

Thermal conductivity is the most critical factor determining a thermal pad's heat transfer performance. Taeyang3C achieves a variety of conductivity levels by adjusting the type and concentration of fillers within the product.
- TYSS Series: 1.5, 3, 5, 9, 12 W/m·K
- TYVS Series (Low-Molecular Siloxane Specialized): 1.5, 3 W/m·K
The TYVS series features reduced low-molecular siloxane compared to our standard TYSS pads, making them ideal for devices sensitive to contact interference. Since the available conductivity ranges differ between the TYSS and TYVS series, it is essential to verify which product fits your specific application.
Furthermore, while higher concentrations of high-performance fillers result in better conductivity, they also increase production costs. For efficient thermal management, selecting the conductivity level most appropriate for your operating environment is key.
2. Thickness (T, mm)

The thickness of a thermal pad is vital for effectively filling the air gaps between the heat source and the heat sink. If a pad is too thick, thermal resistance increases and performance drops; if it is too thin, it may lead to assembly difficulties or durability issues.
- Standard Thickness: 0.5T to 5T (1T = 1mm)
Our standard range spans from 0.5mm to 5mm. Should your project require a non-standard thickness, we can provide custom manufacturing following a detailed technical consultation.
3. Hardness (Shore 00)

Hardness indicates the compression strength and flexibility of the pad. A higher value means the pad is firmer, while a lower value indicates a softer material.
- Taeyang3C Standard Hardness: 55 Shore 00 (Similar to a standard rubber band)
- Comparison by Grade: 35 Shore 00 (Similar to a gel insole) ~ 70 Shore 00 (Similar to a pencil eraser)
Since the perception of "softness" can be subjective, please use the above comparisons as a general reference. The goal is to select the hardness that ensures the best thermal contact for your specific mechanical environment.
4. Size and Die-cutting

The base dimensions of our thermal pads vary depending on their thermal conductivity:
- 1.5 W/m·K to 5 W/m·K: 200 x 400 (mm)
- 7 W/m·K to 12 W/m·K : 200 x 200 (mm)
If you require something beyond a simple rectangle—such as internal holes or intricate shapes—we offer a professional Die-cutting Service. Based on your blueprints, we precision-cut the pads to fit complex electronic component layouts perfectly. We perform technical reviews of your drawings and, if necessary, manufacture dedicated molds to ensure the highest level of precision.
Technical Consultation for the Best Solution
Taeyang3C thermal pads are consumable components and come with a 12-month (1-year) warranty. Please note that this warranty covers product defects only; damage resulting from improper use or storage is excluded.
